Operation Manager (Cosmetic)

Coordinate day-to-day activities for the production team to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to the established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost and wastage targets; and quality standards.- Optimize the resources available to achieve daily, weekly and monthly production targets set by the Management. Communicate with upstream departments to ensure required information and material is available to start production as planned.- Supervise the production activities to ensure the team is on track within the planned targets. Identify potential problems and reorganize resources to maintain the plan.- Frequently communicate with QC team to ensure the products are within the quality specification. Review quality reports to identify the root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.- Ensure production operators adhere to SOP and production rules and regulations at any time.- Monitor general machine/equipment maintenance duties.- Ensure production reports and quality records are updated and properly documented.- Ensure new operators undergo the On-The-Job training and follow effective training schedule to become competent in performing their daily tasks.- Maintain the cleanliness of production and adhere to safety & health practices at all times.- **Job Requirements**:- **Bachelor's Degree/Master Degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical or equivalent.**:- 5 years of managing manufacturing plants preferably in production and operation.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, customers, and local government authorities.- Strong leadership, supervisory, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Strong influencing skills in order to influence strategic decision-making.- Applicants must be willing to work in Alor Setar, Kedah**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shift- Early shiftAbility to commute/relocate:- Alor Setar: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
