About the roleJAGUAR SUCCESS SDN BHD is seeking an experienced and driven Operation Manager to join our team at our Temoh Perak location.
As Operation Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our mining site, ensuring efficient and effective production to support the company's strategic objectives.
This is a full-time position that will require on-site presence.We prefer Mandarin speakers due to the management/operation team being Chinese citizens; Mandarin speakers will facilitate better communication.
What you'll be doing
Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to maximise productivity, quality, and safety.
Oversee all mining operations, including extraction, processing, and transportation of resources.
Manage and lead a team of operations personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise workflows and resolve operational issues.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies and process improvements.
What we're looking for
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior operations role within the mining industry.
Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of mining operations, equipment, and safety protocols.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Mining, or a related field.
Willingness to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
