Part Time - Machinist

• Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner. Abide to APIQ1 specification requirement.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and drawings
• Properly and safely loads and unloads raw materials into CNC machinery.
• Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Ability to set up, program, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills without assistance.
• Must be proficient in FANUC controls
• Ability to reduce machine set up time and machining through process improvements.
• Understands, interprets, and edits FANUC G-Code programming.
• Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling.
• Perform daily and regular cleaning plus light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
• Assist in the organization and maintenance of the machine shop work environment.
• Communicate thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing to co-workers and management.
• Attend tool box meeting and actively participates by providing meaningful inputs.
• Flexible with time and schedule to assure availability to customer or company as circumstances warrant.
