Planning Engineer

(2 Vacancies - WORK LOCATION: KUALA LIPIS, PAHANG & GUA MUSANG, KELANTAN)
Role & Responsibilities
• Plan and schedule the project by developing a project master schedule through the application of the Microsoft Project software.
• Review contractors schedule and ensure its conformance to the contractual milestones and deliverables.
• Review contractor’s proposal for the resource and labour histogram.
• Review and ensure the budget coding and costs are in accordance with the contract.
• Track, monitor and forecast progress of the work for timely execution of the project and report any slippage.
• Prepare necessary daily/ weekly/monthly report.
• Prepare look ahead schedule.
• Review the contractor’s extension of time claims in coordination with the project team.
Qualification & Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or equivalent from a recognised university.
• Familiar with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Malay and English.
• Minimum 3 years direct experience in planning and scheduling of engineering and construction.
