Key Responsibilities: Equipment Maintenance: Manages equipment maintenance, repair, and improvement to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.TPM Implementation: Drives TPM strategy to maximize equipment effectiveness and reduce downtime.Spare Parts Management: Ensures proper inventory management and timely procurement of spare parts.Process Improvement: Identifies and implements process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.Project Management: Plans, coordinates, and manages engineering projects, including installations and upgrades.Special Projects: Supports facility design, renovation, and expansion projects as assigned.Safety and Compliance: Ensures adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards.Energy Management: Monitors and manages energy consumption to reduce costs and improve efficiency.Team Leadership: Supervises and mentors a team of maintenance technicians.Budgeting and Cost Control: Manages the engineering department's budget and controls costs.Vendor Management: Collaborates with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement and delivery of equipment and spare parts. Job Requirements: Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree: In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. 2. Skills: Plant Engineering Principles: Strong understanding of plant layout, equipment selection, and process optimization.Equipment Maintenance: Proficiency in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques for various types of industrial equipment.TPM Implementation: Knowledge and experience in implementing Total Productive Maintenance strategies.Energy Management: Knowledge of energy efficiency principles and practices.Safety and Compliance: Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental standards, and compliance requirements.Knowledge in ISO 9001.Soft Skill: Good technical, analytical and interpersonal skillPLC and Automation: Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems for process control and optimization.
