TECHNICIAN (PLANT) RESPONSIBILITIES: Start-up and shutdown the plant, transferring and loading activities and other plant activities Operate, monitor and control the plant operations to meet desired quality, productivity and cost goals To periodically check on equipment in operation and perform autonomous maintenance (seal pot lube oil monitoring & top up, non-seal pump bearing monitoring) wherever applicable To report any abnormality or malfunctioned equipment to the Sr. Technical Officer I/ Assistant Supervisor. To maintain good housekeeping at the assigned plants and tank farm. To update the shift production report via SAP To monitor condition and functionality of fire-fighting equipment (hose reel, fire extinguisher) To ensure plant effluent discharge is within the control limits To undertake any other duties given by superior from time to time To operate Plant 59 (Breading and Packing), Plant 69A (Breading and Packing) and ACM 2 Drumming accordingly to the standard operating procedure and manual To adhere the company policy, rules and regulations To assist the assistant supervisor in solving problem of operation in order to minimize unplanned shutdown To report storage tank conditions (temperature, nitrogen blanketing, tank accessories, product level, cleanliness and product quality). To do product sampling from storage tank to quality control department required. To ensure empty drums, reject drums, paper bags and other operating materials put and proper arrange at designated area To work with forklift driver in arranging drums and bags in work-in-progress (WIP) area. To report stock conditions of empty bags, empty drums, crepe tape, sewing threads, spray can, drumming cap and other drumming/packing items. To perform empty drums conditions checking. To perform drumming/packing weighing machine standard weight checking daily according to WI-PRO-024Drumming procedure. To monitor and change filter cartridges or bags of CCP according to the guidelines To assist the assistant supervisor in cleaning spray tower and cyclone system as well premises cleaning during change over the products. To ensure correct shipping marking and labelling of packed bags and drums. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum SPM Certificate/Diploma in Technical field will be an added advantage 1-2 years working experience Basic computer skills Able to operate the DCS system
