Job Responsibilities: PMO Leadership:Establish and manage the IT PMO, including defining its structure, processes and policies.Provide leadership and direction to the PMO team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and project management excellence within the organization.2. Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the IT project portfolio, ensuring that projects align with the organization's strategic objectives.Prioritize projects based on business value, resource availability and risk factors.Monitor the progress of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards.3. Quality Assurance Management: Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, processes and best practices.Ensure that software products meet defined quality standards and user requirements. Manage the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective testing and quality control.4. Software Support Management: Oversee the software support function, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues.Manage the software support team, providing training, resources and support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles to assist end-users and support staff.5. Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools and best practices.Ensure that project managers create detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets and resource requirements.Review and approve project plans, ensuring feasibility and alignment with organizational goals.Monitor project execution, providing guidance and support to project manages as needed.6. Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources across the project portfolio, quality assurance and software support functions ensuring optimal utilization.Identify and address resource constraints and conflicts.Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors as needed.7. Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery, quality assurance and software support.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating to senior management as necessary.8. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, progress and issues t stakeholders, including senior management, business units and external partners.Ensure that stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle.Facilitate project steering committee meetings and other governance activities.9. Performance Management: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the PMO, quality assurance and software support functions.Conduct regular performance reviews with team members, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.Ensure that project lessons learned, and quality assurance findings are documented and incorporated into future projects.  10. Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for the PMO, quality assurance and software support functions, ensuring financial constraints are met.Monitor budgets, identifying and addressing variances as needed.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for projects and operational activities. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and support and at least 3 years in a management role.Have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or any related field.Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) or similar certifications are preferred.  Experience/Skill Required: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.Excellent organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and best practices.Experience with software support processes and tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management, quality assurance and support software and tools.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
