Overview:
The lifeguard at BayOne Swim School is responsible for supervising swimming activities, ensuring the safety and order of all swimmers, providing emergency care if needed, and maintaining a safe and clean environment around the pool area. This role requires vigilance, quick response to emergencies, and excellent customer service skills. Female preferred.
Job Description:
1) Safety Supervision:
? Monitor swimming activities closely to ensure the safety of all participants
? Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injurie
? Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies, including water rescues and first aid administration
2) Emergency Response:
? Administer immediate first aid and CPR as needed
? Communicate effectively with emergency services and provide necessary information in case of severe injuries or incidents
? Maintain accurate records of incidents and report them to the swim school management
3) Instruction Support:
? Assist swim instructors during lessons by ensuring a safe environment
? Guide and maintain order around the pool deck to prevent accidents
? Provide feedback to instructors on any safety concerns observed during lessons
? Support swim students as needed, ensuring they feel safe and confident
4) Facility Maintenance:
? Ensure the pool area is clean, organized, and free from hazards
? Conduct regular checks of pool equipment and report any issues to the maintenance team
? Monitor and maintain appropriate chemical levels in the pool, if trained to do so
5) Cleanliness and Maintenance:
? Greet and assist swimmers, parents, and guardians in a friendly and professional manner
? Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and courteously

Qualifications:
1) Experience:
? Previous experience as a lifeguard preferred
? Competent swimming skills
2) Communication Skills:
? Excellent customer service and communication skills
3) Flexibility:
? Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
