Role Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production planning, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
This role requires strong leadership to align departmental objectives with the company's overall goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities 1. Manufacturing Operations Management: Oversee and manage daily production operations to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.Translate company objectives into departmental goals and ensure these goals are communicated and achieved at all levels. 2. Team Leadership & Performance: Supervise, motivate, and guide the team to achieve departmental goals while upholding company values and standards.Establish and monitor performance indicators and evaluate staff performance regularly.Lead and encourage employees to participate in team projects and department activities focused on continuous improvement. 3. Cross-Department Collaboration: Foster close cooperation with relevant departments and corporate functions to align with and achieve objectives. 4. Safety, Health & Environment Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety, fire protection, and environmental protection regulations.Promote a safe working environment and comply with all relevant Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) norms and requirements. 5. Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities assigned by the Managing Director or immediate superior. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field with a focus on management. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in supervising production employees and managing overall operations.Strong leadership and supervisory skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to interact effectively across all staff levels.Proven capability in monitoring and optimizing production workflows.
