Production Planner

The responsibilities of the Production Planner are to complete sales orders and deliver on time with well-planned materials.
When exercising the duties during work days, specific responsibilities and authorities of the Production Planner include:
Check stock in the warehouse when receiving orders from the sales team (SO).
If there is a lack of stock, plan to complete the SO and deliver to the customer as per requested.
Ensure utilization of warehouse stock before requesting from purchasing to order materials.
Prepare SO order quantity with the ERP system.
Plan scheduling to run in production and complete as per the date requested in the SO.
Follow up with the production supervisor to ensure the SO can be completed on time.
Communicate with the sales team if production can't fulfill the order and find the best way to complete the order.
Update the "completion date" at the Delivery Schedule to inform sales to arrange delivery to the customer.
Review completed order bristle weight usage tally with the plan.
