Production & Procurement Planner Posting Date : 21 Aug 2024 | Close Date :19 Nov 2024 Client Background: Industrial Power Electronics Industry: ManufacturingLocation: Penang Science Park (Simpang Ampat)Title: Production Procurement PlannerHeadcount: 1 Job description: Ensure smooth communication with production and distribution centers in order to increase customer's satisfaction.Analyze MRP and plan production orders, considering the bottlenecks and the production optimization.Ensure keeping the right stock levels for components and finished goods in accordance to Corporate inventory strategy.Manage exceptions by communicating with Sales and Operations in a timely manner.Ensure master data maintenance for the portfolio.Ensure all the financial controls are done on time.Optimize day to day operations and tasks, with a continuous improvement mindset.Ensure processes and guidelines are followed.
In case, of gaps, make a proposal for changes.Report KPIs and improvements.Participate to new product launching in order to establish the flows Define production planning.Ensure to have the right stock strategy in hand for your products.Bring and integrate new projects.
Requirements; Degree in Supply Chain Management, APICs certification or any related disciplineA minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain operationsLean capabilities: problem solving, value stream mapping.Experience in S&OP process Experience with an international environmentUnderstand ERP functionalities and being able to standardize processes.
