The role exist to assist the Project Development team to during the construction management stages, including scheduling , planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality.
Job ResponsibilitiesTo assist the Project Manager in matters pertaining to project management and the construction process, such as:
Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned projects.Monitoring compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.Interacting daily with the Planning & Strategy Department to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the projects.Performing overall quality control of the work and reporting regularly on project status.Cooperating and communicating effectively with the Project Manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.Reviewing engineering deliverables and initiating appropriate corrective actions if necessary.Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects.Job RequirementsA Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Post Graduate Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering, Project Management, or related fields.At least 3-4 years of working experience in property development or construction, experience in consultancy and registered with BEM are an added advantage.Knowledgeable in construction management.Strong skills in planning and supervision.Decision-making ability and leadership skills.Understanding of detailed drawings, standards, work programs, and the processes of inspection and requirements.SkillsExcellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD & Microsoft.Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
