Our client is a is a global manufacturer of heat transfer products and services, specialized in developing evaporative cooling equipment that conserves water and energy.
Job Responsibilities: Project Management Initiation Working closely with the sales and applications team to ensure a clear conception of project deliverables, milestones, and budget prior to accepting the PO.
Planning Create project schedule and budget in close cooperation with all the stakeholders including engineering, factory, distributors, subcontractors and customer.
Monitoring and control Follow up and document the progress on a regular basis, set up a transparent and regular status update and communication plan, along with an escalation plan to ensure timely response to any risks or changes.
Closure Follow through until all deliverables have been achieved, all punch items on site have been cleared and all invoices have been paid.
Site Support Supervision of installation and commissioning Warranty support: assess issues, coordinate rectification plan with factory team and supervise corrective actions on site.
Aftermarket: visit existing installations and write visit reports with an assessment of the current state and make recommendations with regards to maintenance, refurbishment or replacements.
Performance Indicators Project cost and schedule variance (%) Customer feedback with regards to quality of communication and execution Aftermarket sales revenue Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering 5 years of experience with cooling towers or rotating equipment sales 5 years of experience in construction project management Good English, other languages are a plus High sense of responsibility, discipline, and ability to work under pressure Creative and analytical problem solver, focused on results and getting the job done properly Customer centricity: good inter-personal skills and clear communicator, adept in detecting and addressing any possible ambiguities upfront Team-player: ability to interface well with people of various backgrounds such as engineering, manufacturing, construction, purchasing, QA/QC, etc Willingness to travel from time to time (+/-50%) Ethical behaviour and compliance with FCPA
