Managing project and ensure project is delivered within budget and on time; with quality as planned. Ensure projects risks are reported to higher management together with solutions and alternatives- Responsible for managing a project through the project life cycle (from planning to close out). Overall leadership of the project team ensuring safety, timeliness, and to cost delivery of the projects.- Responsible to ensure the delivered end products meet the needs of the stakeholders, both internal and external.- Directs the project planning, design; construction and approval processes.- Runs the project schedule and negotiates interdependencies.- Co-ordinates with all parties involved with the project; internal departments, consultants and contractors.- Conducts the project management plan ensuring stakeholders are considered.- Monitors progress against targets and solves complex issues between stakeholders.- Manages project budgets and reports progress against budget.- Customizing the Project briefs, technical scope of work and preliminary Concept plan requirements for the land masses for all developments.- Ensuring that the service delivery required from other Departments (i.e. Planning & Development, Procurement) is on time and as per project needs.- Keeps management updated on the technical aspects of development and drives the service providers to deliver as per agreements- Coordination with all departments on all technical requirements and delivery- Oversee the delivery of projects according to agreed time frames- Resolves and coordinate with relevant service providers such as Operations, on technical, engineering and maintenance requirements- Coordinate with the procurement department and work within their framework.- To maintain a high standard of safety and health on project sites.- To lead and cultivate a team of efficient, disciplined and motivated site personnel.- To implement policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the Management to complete projects.- To comply with applicable legal and other requirements.- To take responsibility to protect the environment and prevent pollution.- To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.**Requirements**:- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or any other equivalent qualification.- 5 - 10 years or more experience in engineering and Construction Project Management- Possess Technical skills with proven track record of experience in infrastructure projects such as Roads, Utilities: Water, Power, Sewerage...etc)- Strong leadership quality and planning skills with sound knowledge of construction method, project management, cost control and quality management.- Good interpersonal skills and ability to lead ability to lead and motivate site personnel to achieve work progress targets- Excellent communication, problem solving and time management skills- Ability to work under pressure/overtime to meet deadlines.- Possess a high level of integrity, initiative, drive, commitment, and sense of urgency- Ability to prepare and analyse reports, statements, and correspondence- Knowledge in legal and other requirements, and good environmental, safety and health practices.- Computer literate and familiar with MS Office Application Software and MS Project.**Knowledge, skills and Experience**- Project Management & Audits & Compliance- Budget Development & Planning- People Management & Teamwork integration- Experience with service authorities.- Roads & Infrastructure experience**Additional information**:- Meals and/ or accommodation are provided at the site- Work location: Terengganu - Dungun - Bukit Besi**Job Type**: ContractContract length: 12 months**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- Dungun: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- Project Management: 5 years (required)- Infrastructure & Highway: 5 years (required)**Language**:- Mandarin (preferred)- Bahasa (required)- English (required)
