We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all public areas within the property. This includes lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and other common spaces. The Public Area Attendant plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by maintaining a pristine and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities: Clean and Maintain Public Areas: Ensure lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other public spaces are clean and tidy at all times. Dust, polish, and vacuum floors, carpets, and furniture. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners. Restock Supplies: Monitor and replenish supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials. Ensure all public areas are adequately stocked and presentable. Guest Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs in a friendly and efficient manner. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department. Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Use cleaning products and equipment according to company guidelines. Team Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move heavy items if needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. #J-18808-Ljbffr
