Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities:



-Support Planning department for delivery schedule commitment to customers.


-Source and purchase electronics and mechanical parts.


-Support new product transfer project.


-Manage supplier base to achieve competitive cost, quality and delivery performance.


-Generate purchase order, expedite and reschedule order and handle excess inventory (inventory control management).


-Ensure timely delivery of materials to support the plant operation and manufacturing needs.


-Handle supplier shipment discrepancies.


-Any ad hoc task assigned by superior

Requirements:



-At least a Diploma, preferably in Materials Management / Supply Chain Management / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.


-Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience is required for this position. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.


-Good communication and negotiation skills.


-Meticulous and team player.


-Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.


-Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.


-Willing to work in Perai, Penang.
