Familiar with ISO 9001 & TS 16949/IATF 16949 standards is an added advantage.
Experience in handling customer complaints is a bonus.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the Quality Department, leading the team in QAQC activities.
Monitor & review quality policy & quality plan across all areas, ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of QMS.
Communicate quality matters effectively, ensuring corrective actions and preventive actions are reviewed and monitored.
Ensure documentation, including PPAP, Control Plan, SPC, CPK, GTNR, FMEA for FAI parts, meets customer requirements.
Ensure CAR (Corrective Action Report) responses are issued by related divisions/departments/suppliers for non-conformity and rejection as per CAR procedure.
Prepare RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substance) reports, material certificates, Certificate of Analysis (COA), and material safety data sheets (MSDS) as requested.
Investigate NG (not good) products, collaborating with the production team for countermeasures and identifying possible improvements.
Utilize research studies on wastewater treatment and chemicals affecting the quality of finished products, with assistance from the Production/Plating Officer when dealing with appearance NG products.
Monitor processes across the plant and verify quality degradation of parts caused by degreasers, lubricants, plating chemicals, or mechanical processes.
Engage with clients in the Sales Department for cost negotiations, product quality performance, and ongoing project progress such as project schedules and tool construction.
Perform product cost analysis before assisting the team in generating quotations for customers.
Prepare for customer audits, ISO 9001, and ISO TS16949.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure products fulfill customer requirements based on ISO and IATF standards.
Attend to customer complaints and feedback, discussing with internal departments to handle non-conforming products and follow up on corrective action plans.
Assist the Production Planning & Document Controller Department in daily production reports and ensure document issuance follows ISO standards.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Process, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry.
2-5 years of working experience in a managerial position (QAQC/Quality related).
Willing to work in Perusahaan Bakat Arang, Sungai Petani Kedah.
Hands-on experience/Familiarity with 8D reports.
Basic Salary RM5000 - RM8000 (commensurate with working experience).
