Responsibilities
Handle assigned NPI project to meet project objectives, customer expectations & applicable regulatory requirements.
Establish new product testing/inspection procedures, criteria, and work instructions.
Establish reliability test program to ensure product life meets customer requirements.
Plan & perform product verification & validation tests for new projects, alternative sources, or changes applicable to the products.
Follow up on issues that arise during trial runs to ensure new products are designed for manufacturing.
Work with QC Engineer by transferring the methodology of NPI testing and failure history into IPQC/OQA test procedures.
Learn periodically on test methodologies widely employed through co-operational laboratories, competitors, international specifications, and regulatory standards, and deploy into test plans.
Prepare required documents as per Quality Management System, customer-specific, and/or regulatory requirements along NPI stages.
Requirements
Minimum diploma or certificate in Electronics / Electrical Engineering.
At least 2 years in Quality Assurance for New Product Introduction, Reliability, Safety, and EMI test field.
Experienced in studying product specifications & applicable test standards to establish product test plans, specifications, and inspection procedures.
Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
Well-practiced with QC 7 tools, MSA, FMEA, control plans & SPC tools.
Good understanding of semiconductor / plastic component behaviors.
