Quantity Surveyor

**QS RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Assessing and estimating the costs of materials, labor, and equipment required for construction projects.- Preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and recommending contracts to clients.- Monitoring project costs, identifying variances, and implementing cost-saving measures.- Assessing work done and valuing completed construction work for interim payments.- Identifying potential risks and providing advice on mitigating them.- Administering contracts, including preparing contract documents, variations, and claims.- Assessing and agreeing on final accounts at the end of construction projects.- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.- Ensuring that all parties adhere to contractual terms and conditions throughout the project lifecycle.- Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with contracts and proposing risk mitigation strategies.- Resolving disputes and claims that arise during the execution of contracts.- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.- Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.- Ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled and finalizing contract closeout documentation.**REQUIREMENTS**:- Bachelor's degree, diploma in quantity surveying, or similar qualification.- 3 years and above of working experience.- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.- Sound knowledge of construction practices.- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize effectively.- Strong networking abilities.- Possession of a valid driver's license.**Salary**: From RM2,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Meal allowanceSchedule:- Monday to Friday**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- Quantity Surveyor: 3 years (preferred)Application Deadline: 04/05/2024
