About the role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at WINNERS ALUM SYSTEM SDN. BHD. in our Bayan Lepas, Penang office. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects and ensuring cost-effective delivery.
What you'll be doing Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projectsTaking-off and preparation of Bill of Quantities for Aluminum & Glazing WorksHandle progress claim, site valuation, variation orders and preparation of final accountNegotiating and managing contracts with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliersMonitoring project expenditure and identifying cost-saving opportunitiesProviding regular financial forecasts to project managersAssisting with the preparation of tender documents and bid submissionsCollaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetMaintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycleCarry out any other duties assigned by the management from time to timeWhat we're looking for Diploma/ Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction-focused disciplineMinimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry (Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply)Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry regulationsProficient in using MS Office applicationsProficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Both oral and writing)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholdersAbility to work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects successfullyAttention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve cost-related issuesWhat we offer
