**Position level : Manager/ Senior Manager****Reporting to : Director****Subordinates : 4 current, increasing 3 headcount****- To oversee Supplier Quality for all new or existing components. (include electrical & non-electrical components)****- Audit supplier quality, to ensure supplier's product quality compliance with organization's Quality System/ manufacturing standards. (Eg. ISO 13485, FDA, MDR )****- Monitor & continuously improvement for supplier's performance.****Responsibilities**:- Provide day-to-day management of Supplier Development personnel which results in the implementation and execution of functional objectives, vision and mission.- Drive the development of new component sources for product development with clear specifications and appropriate component evaluation.- Direct the qualification of new components for organization use.- Drive the resolution of component/supplier related issues and manage the component/material inspection and stores functions.- Recruits, coaches and develops organizational talent.- Fosters a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.- Creates an entrepreneurial environment.- Provides direction and guidance to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. May supervise non-exempt employees.- Keeps the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.- Demonstrates effective change leadership.- Builds strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.- Develops and executes organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills.- Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.).- Makes decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve department objectives.- Develops, monitors and appropriately adjusts the annual budget for department(s).**Quality System Requirements**- In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.- Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the Organization's Quality Policy.- Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.**Management Requirements**- May lead a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.- Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.- May direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs and/or operations.- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Science, or other technical degrees- 7+ years' progressive experience working in the medical device industry- 5+ years demonstrated success leading and developing high performing teams- Strong facilitation & communication skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization with proven ability to lead individuals, complex projects, and solve difficult technical problems.- Highly adaptable, willing to accept new ideas, and ability to create, influence, and implement global strategies and policies successfully- Lead auditor of quality systems experience (ISO 13485 or similar).- Experience recruiting & developing a high performing technical team**Job Type**: Permanent**Salary**: RM17,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- 13th month salary- Performance bonusApplication Question(s):- What is the component that you've managed in your past working experience?
