**Job Description:**
AirAsia Group Berhad is seeking a motivated and skilled Remote Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team. This part-time position is designed for a passionate and independent individual who thrives in a high-energy environment focused on delivering impactful results. The Business Development Associate will support the growth initiatives of AirAsia by engaging in market research, strategic planning, lead generation, and relationship building with key stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Market Research and Analysis:**
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities to support strategic decisions.
- Identify target markets and assist in forming actionable strategies to penetrate these markets.
- Track and report on market developments and competitor activities.
2. **Lead Generation and Management:**
- Generate and qualify leads through various channels including social media, networking, and specialized business platforms.
- Maintain a database of potential leads and track interactions to ensure follow-up and engagement strategies are optimized.
3. **Relationship Building:**
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders to encourage collaboration and drive business development efforts.
- Engage in regular communication with leads and clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
4. **Sales Support:**
- Assist in the development of sales presentations and proposals that align with client requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of leads and existing clients with detailed insights from market analysis.
5. **Performance Tracking:**
- Monitor and evaluate business development metrics to measure success and effectiveness of different strategies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing progress on lead generation, relationship management, and market analysis.
6. **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment between business development strategies and brand messaging.
- Participate in team meetings to share insights, feedback, and gather input from colleagues on industry best practices.
**Requirements:**
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- **Experience:** Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the aviation or travel industry.
- **Skills:**
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret data and market insights.
- Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with potential clients and partners.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Personality Traits:**
