Remote Pr Associate

Job Description:

Malaysia Airlines Berhad is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Remote PR Associate to join our team in George Town, Penang. As an Entry Level position, we are looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in public relations or a related field. The Remote PR Associate will be responsible for managing and executing public relations campaigns, building relationships with media outlets, drafting press releases, and monitoring media coverage.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement public relations strategies to promote Malaysia Airlines Berhad
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for management
- Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and other media events
- Assist with crisis communication and reputation management efforts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in public relations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in public relations or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and media monitoring tools
- Experience with social media management is a plus
