About the role: We are looking for an experienced Sales Development Manager (SDM) to lead and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) across the APAC & US region. The role will focus on outbound lead generation in SaaS companies with the goal of onboarding new merchants. You will be responsible for driving the teams sales targets, optimizing outreach strategies, and ensuring the team achieves high efficiency and effectiveness. Candidates must be comfortable working in the US time zone and managing a team remotely.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day management of the SDR team, ensuring high-quality lead sourcing and outreach across APAC & the US.Develop and implement strategies to improve market penetration and merchant outreach coverage.Lead the team by setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing guidance on best practices for outreach and cold calling.Actively contribute by demonstrating sales techniques, creating personalized outreach templates, and optimizing workflows for better lead conversion.Manage and maintain a large pipeline of leads, focusing on achieving both efficiency and effectiveness in lead generation.Adopt a customer-centric approach, ensuring that outreach strategies align with the needs and interests of potential merchants.Drive team culture, ensuring high energy, adaptability, and a focus on results. Requirements 3+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in a SaaS environment, with a proven track record of managing sales teams or achieving high individual quotas.Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with clients and team members.Demonstrated experience in outbound sales, including cold calling and personalized outreach.Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor a team.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, as well as managing a remote team.Fluent in English; additional language skills from APAC/US markets (e.g., Bahasa Melayu/Indonesia, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese) are a plus.
