Sales Engineer (Flood Mitigation/Stormwater Management)

Location : Kota Kinabalu, Sabah About My Client A pioneering provider of geotechnical engineering solutions, my client is committed to delivering sustainable products and services for civil engineering and environmental projects.They are recognized for their innovation and quality and support the construction industry in achieving superior infrastructural milestones.The Role We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to strengthen our client's team.This role involves managing and expanding client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and enhancing our market presence in Sabah.Key Responsibilities 1.Client Management Service existing clients and source new clientele, including local authorities, consultants, contractors, and developers.2. Business Development Proactively canvass and source information on prospects and projects through diverse channels such as tenders and web portals.3.Engagement Initiatives Organize and conduct presentations and seminars to potential clients across government sectors and private industries.4.Sales Process Oversight Manage the sales cycle from generating leads and proposals to closing deals, including follow-up on quotations and collections.5. Credit Management Propose and manage client credit facilities, ensuring compliance and monitoring progress.6.Marketing Strategy Contribute to the development and execution of a strategic marketing plan.7.Competitive Analysis Gather information on competitors, focusing on pricing, products, distribution channels, and promotional strategies.8.Field Support Travel to client sites to provide installation guidance or resolve product-related site issues.9.Reporting and Documentation Maintain detailed records of client interactions, travel plans, project lists, and market insights.Requirements 1.Education A degree in Civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, architecture, or construction management is preferred.2.Experience At least 3 years in sales within the construction or building materials industry.Additional experience in civil engineering or related fields is beneficial.3.Skills Exceptional sales and marketing skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a charismatic personality.4.Characteristics Highly self-motivated, independent, and resourceful, able to work effectively within a team.5.Language Proficiency Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.Additional language skills are a plus.6.Local Insight Open only to Sabahans willing to work in and travel around Kota Kinabalu.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting a comprehensive resume highlighting relevant experiences and skills.Apply today!
