Sales Manager – Compression Solutions About the Role Location Malaysia Selangor Petaling Jaya Company Siemens Energy Sdn. Bhd. Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Compression Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day The responsibility of this position applies to one or more of Transformation of Industry activities, which includes Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, LNG, FPSO, Oil & Gas Applications – including both onshore and offshore. In addition, selected sales manager is expected to work on growing the pipeline on CCUS and Hydrogen projects in the region. The role will be based in Malaysia. 
How You'll Make an Impact Lead sales activities for Transformation of Industry Compression Solutions for select customer/client base (which includes offshore oil & gas customers, LNG plants, industrial, CCUS, Hydrogen, etc.) by review of client's request for quotation (RFQ) and perform equipment selections including drivers and auxiliary, using company or other engineering tools developing the most optimized solution(s). Develop and maintain excellent client relationship at various levels. Maintain and develop strong sales pipeline for assigned customers in Asia pacific region. Ensuring appropriate sales coverage, opportunity evaluation, risk analysis, etc. to maximum opportunity to achieve the Orders, Margin, and minimizing execution risk. Maintaining good understanding of the market environment & provide feedback to enable the right pricing and optimum terms for efficient deal closures. Working collaboratively with Commercial managers, Application Engineers & execution functions to develop and execute sales strategies. Promoting products and solutions to achieve profitable growth. Driving pricing and commercial strategies to maximize margin expansion. What You Bring Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering Degree from accredited higher education institution. Experience in rotating equipment ( centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, gas turbines, other mechanical equipments, etc.) in either sales, proposals, application engineering, front-end / detail engineering or project management. Team player and works well with others in a team environment. Domestic and international travel is required to support clients, customer base, training, project presentations, bid clarification and project kick-off meetings. Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills. Proficiency in the English language, bilingual and regional or international experience is an advantage.
