Taylor & Francis Asia Pacific is seeking a Sales Manager to join its successful commercial team. This is a key position for our continued business success and growth.

What you'll be doing: Achieve and exceed annual territory sales targets, delivering the overall revenue and profit objectives of the business area.Design, with key stakeholders, strategic plans for the business area, ensuring that activity is both relevant and flexible to the evolving trading environment over timeManage resources to ensure that the structure and makeup of the team is optimal towards the success of the sales operationReport periodically to key stakeholders on sales progress and the business environment.Drive compliance with company trading and terms policy to protect profitability and value of business in the territoryActively liaise with other stakeholder departments or groups within the business to enhance T&F's coverage of the territoryMaintain and build strong working relationships with Sales Agents and other business partners.Seek out new opportunities and customers throughout the region, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to maximize upselling potential and repeat business.
Qualifications
What we're looking for: Preferably degree level educated and a strong sales background with a proven track record for getting resultsTarget driven approach and the skills to manage sales plans and deliveryThe ability to work independently and pro-actively, with awareness of when to delegate tasksWillingness to travel as required by the demands of the role and companyAbility to create and maintain positive and effective relationships with the sales team and other internal colleaguesBe able to build rapport with current and new customers, and foster business relationships with key decision makersWell-organised, and able to prioritise and manage your time to maximise resultsHigh level of computer literacy and digital proficiency Knowledge and experience of the Asia HE library markets and/or academic publishing is desirable
