Mission As a Sales Manager at IBA (Ion Beam Applications), you play a crucial role in achieving our sales targets for our cutting-edge medical devices.
You will align your efforts with our annual Business Line sales plan and margin, Business Line strategy, and ethical standards to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Challenges we trust you with Achieve assigned sales and margin targets within the designated portfolio of existing or new clients in the EMEA region. Negotiate the best deals in accordance with the pricing strategy and ethical business practices. Maintain accurate and timely customer information and activities in the CRM database. Manage relationships with stakeholders, including customers, prospects, agents, distributors, B2B contacts, key opinion leaders, C-level executives, physicists, clinicians, and health ministry representatives. Your customer portfolio includes both government and private sectors. Stay updated on technical knowledge and communicate effectively with customers and prospects. Contribute to market intelligence by closely monitoring competition and market trends. Report any adverse product events promptly. Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and internal departments to ensure product/service availability and on-time delivery. Identify and convert opportunities for up-sales and cross-sales. Participate in industry events, fairs, and marketing campaigns. What we value You Have: A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience in high-tech and complex product sales. A long-term approach, as you will be dealing with extended sales cycles (more than 1 year). Strong abilities to foster constructive, long-term customer relationships and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset. Knowledge of other languages, especially German, would be highly beneficial. You Are: Client-oriented, ensuring efficient sales processes and maintaining professional contacts. Stress-resistant, capable of handling customer requirements and internal constraints. Hands-on, driven, and a self-starter, actively seeking and utilizing the right information. Proactive and eager to learn, continuously seeking improvement and taking on more responsibility. Able to take the lead and initiate relevant actions within your scope. Accurate and rigorous, with the ability to plan and organize your work autonomously. An assertive team player with strong interpersonal skills. Ready to travel up to 60-70% of your time, including international travel. The Ideal Candidate Will Have in Their Profile: Experience in negotiating with C-level executives. Previous success in customized equipment sales. Experience with equipment valued in the millions of euros.
