Project Management
- Manage and execute engagement strategies with government agencies and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and scope.
- Identify, analyze, and support new program opportunities within the region, regularly monitoring and evaluating prospects.
- Oversee the proposal process, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and requirements.
- Monitor and coordinate program development efforts within the assigned region.
- Identify and explore opportunities for collaboration with ministries and public-sector entities.
- Facilitate discussions and align potential partnerships.
- Manage special projects that were assigned by KBS which includes project timelines, budgets, stakeholder managements and reports preparation.
Strategizing
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and government-related campaigns on behalf of the Government Affairs and CEO's Office.
- Edit and maintain official data, reports, and correspondence, ensuring governance compliance for all communications.
- Build and maintain cooperative relationships with stakeholders, communities, employees, and public interest groups.
- Analyze organizational objectives and policies to develop Government Affairs strategies that influence public opinion and promote the company's initiatives.
- Stay updated on the Ministry of Youth and Sports' strategic directions and plans.
- Provide strategic input to Parliament, ministers, and government committees on policies relevant to the organization.
- Draft policy recommendations, position papers, and briefing notes.
- Monitor legislative developments affecting the organization.
Communication
- Act as the primary liaison with KBS and other government stakeholders, maintaining open communication for collaboration.
- Partner with internal teams (e.g., business development, PR and Comms, Operations) to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Prepare and review official and government communications including but not limited to Nota/Memorandum Jemaah Menteri, Parliamentary correspondence and documents.
- Organize events such as campaigns, exhibitions, and stakeholder forums to enhance engagement.
- Monitor public perception of KBS-funded activities and address reputational risks through proactive communication strategies.
- Maintain and update the organization's Government Affairs database and website content.
Coordination
- Plan and oversee programs to promote favorable public and stakeholder perceptions of the organization's goals and achievements.
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure timely reporting and proposal submissions.
- Facilitate communication between KBS and operational teams to align objectives.
- Monitor media outlets and social platforms for opportunities to enhance Government Affairs initiatives.
- Organize and coordinate stakeholder engagement events, visits, forums, and networking sessions.
Reporting
- Draft and edit reports, case studies, speeches, and articles for internal and external audiences.
- Commission or undertake relevant market research and data analysis.
- Conduct research and provide updates on new business opportunities within the government sector and present findings to the VP of Corporate Affairs and CEO to explore potential collaboration opportunities.
- Maintain records of stakeholder interactions and correspondence.
- Schedule and prepare for stakeholder meetings and events, including drafting minutes as needed.
Stakeholder Management
- Support the CEO and departmental heads on all Government Affairs-related matters.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with ministry officials and government agencies.
- Address and resolve project-related disputes, with a target of fewer than five disputes annually.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of KBS and other governmental stakeholders, tracking engagement history and outcomes.
- Foster clear and productive communication with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, ensuring measurable results from collaborations.

; Requirements:-
-Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field.
-Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in project and account management or managing clients (and/or other stakeholders) especially in the government sector will be an added advantage.
-Good command in English and Bahasa Melayu inclusive of speaking, writing and presentation.
-Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or similar design software, along with competency in Canva, will be highly advantageous.
