Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:
Formulate and execute strategies aimed at enhancing the reliability and performance of the company's IT systems and applications.
Work closely with development teams to design and implement systems that achieve defined reliability and performance objectives.
Manage and improve continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate building, testing, and deployment processes.
Continuously monitor and troubleshoot production systems to promptly address and resolve issues.
Develop automation scripts and tools to boost operational efficiency.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide round-the-clock production support.
Disseminate best practices, tools, and advice to fellow engineers throughout the organization.
Expectations and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline.
Comprehensive experience with database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL.
Proficiency in orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
Expertise in web servers, including Nginx, Apache, and Traefik.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Practical experience with cloud services, particularly AWS and Google Cloud.
Familiarity with web application development and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitLab Runners, and Spinnaker.
Extensive knowledge in Unix/Linux system administration.
