Senior Executive/Executive - Purchasing

Job descriptionDevelop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that align with company goals and objectives;Identify, evaluate, and establish long-term partnerships with suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness;Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to achieve significant cost savings and mitigate risks;Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels;Ensure that purchased products meet company standards and specifications;Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications;Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities;Collaborate with various departments, including finance, operations, and logistics, to understand and fulfill purchasing needs;Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards;Mentor and guide junior procurement staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and knowledge;Prepare and present procurement reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting savings achieved and areas for improvement.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field;At least 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with senior or leadership role;Proven track record of successful negotiations and supplier management;Strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
