About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Maintenance Executive to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facility.
What you'll be doing: - Responsible for maximizing the availability of the factory machineries and providing technical solutions to increase the reliability of the whole system. Oversee the total factory maintenance activities including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and infrastructural for the smooth operations.Plan schedule maintenance practice eg preventive/predictive and condition-based maintenance on machine / equipment to reduce breakdown and increase reliability of factory machineries and utilities and always keep management update accordingly.Perform root cause analysis for all major breakdowns and formulate corrective and preventive action to avoid future recurrence.Prepare monthly engineering report (R&M reports, utility consumption, capex progress) for Management's review. Monthly monitoring of R&M reports and stock inventories for the department to ensure consistent control and within budgets.Ensuring adherence on regulatory compliance to all relevant industry standard including ISO, DOSH, DOE, BOMBA and others.Developing, implementing and maintaining standard operation procedures (SOPs) and checklists to ensure consistent practices. Establishing a system for effective management of spare parts to support continuous production.To provide necessary guidance and train the Maintenance team members to their best performance.Upkeep equipment and machineries in optimum and systematic constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.Responsible for comprehensive maintenance stock control and inventory management of maintenance materials. Review all engineering / maintenance material requirements and providing technical guidance to procurement team for the correct purchaseMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment manuals.Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.Welding, mechanical & electrical works for factory and office. What we're looking for: - Candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum 5 (Five) years relevant working experience in manufacturing environment or any other related field with proven track record. Preference to the candidate with furniture industry experience. Knowledgeable in electrical and instrument field Strong technical knowledge, leadership and supervisory skills.Matured, analytical, self-starter and independent.Proficient in Office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.Proactive and Good sense of urgency.Chargeman A0 or above is an added advantage.Greenbook or OSH-Coordinator is an added advantage.Competent Person in Scheduled Waste is an added advantage.What we offer
