We are looking for an experienced Commercial Director to spearhead our growth in Malaysia.  You will be an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create commercial strategies, deliver an exceptional customer experience and exceed sales targets. You will keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to upper management while ensuring success metrics of each team are met. 
What you will do: Lead the Customer Servicing, Sales and Partnerships team to achieve aggressive growth performance. Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives, to accelerate growth. Drive new clients acquisition, growth of existing accounts and adoption of a breadth of solutions to achieve revenue targets and positive contribution margins. Manage the sales team in pipeline discipline, taking a data driven approach to managing performance and report to senior management on commercial activities using key metrics. Negotiate commercial arrangements and execute whether via sales, marketing or product development to achieve revenue targets. Deliver an exceptional customer experience at all times, establishing servicing SOPs and ensuring customer needs are addressed. Set team-based targets, hold the team accountable to achieving these and reset the bar each month! Obtain feedback from clients on our products and services, collaborate cross functionally with marketing and product to implement improvements as well as encourage cross sell within Modalku ecosystem What we are looking for: Minimum 8 years of payments experience and team leadership experience. Extensive payments experience, across SME and mid market & In-depth understanding of selected SME industries. Experience building from the ground up, not limited to start-ups, but also driving key strategic initiatives within larger organizations Hard working, proven experience in qualifying customers and handling an extensive daily call volume. A passion for meeting the needs of the customer and generating maximum benefit from each customer interaction. Proven track record of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and delivering an exceptional customer experience at the same time Candidate must be adaptable to constantly changing requirements, and to be independent and highly disciplined.
