It is not all-inclusive and Dexcom may, depending on the specific nature of the position, modify these tasks and/or identify additional tasks, based on business needs.Oversee and direct operations of production areas to ensure volume, cost, waste and quality standards are achieved.Collaborates with cross functional team to develop production schedules, materials, and resource requirements to meet production goals.This is done with supply chain, planning, engineering and production to best optimize the loading with all the interdependent activities are considered.Provides leadership for the organization and works with cross-functional teams to identify, develop and oversee the implementation of new Processes & technology.Bring structure and governance to Operations execution through implementation and leadership of the 'Dexcom Production System'.Identify, develop and execute strategies to improve overall productivity and drive year over year improvements.Plans and direct maintenance, turnarounds, and downtime for efficiency and speed.Possess strong leadership in driving lean transformation and proven track records in carrying out end to end process streamlining.Experienced in MES system and involved in developing and streamlining the workflow to have seamless integration between ERP and MES.Someone with track records of streamlining the material flow and overall materials management; linking closely the physical movement with the system.Introduce mechanism be it from system or processes or both to improve inventory management and inventory accuracy.Experienced in driving layout optimization for shopfloor.Work closely with and influencing BU partners to deliver pre agreed goals and performance levels.Engage actively as required to ensure resolution of issues and challenges.Coordinate and/or act as a liaison between work units, shifts, departments, functions, corporate partners, etc.Ensure that the Operations team execute in conformity with company and/or industry policies, procedures and regulations.Drive continuous improvement that will result in improvements in quality, cost, delivery and safety.Support new product introductions into commercial manufacturing as required.Remain up to date on global programs that will impact operations execution.

Education Requirements:Relevant degree and 10 years related experience (5 of which should be as Operations leader) or equivalent combination of Education and Experience.Preferred qualifications include:Manufacturing experience essential, automation environment an advantageMedical device industry experienceExperience with start-up & scale-up organizationsExperience working in a Digital Factory4IR exposure or involvement is a plus
