About the role We are hiring for Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible to drive business growth and market share growth in the Independent Pharmacy channel by implementing sales strategies to achieve & exceed corporate sales objectives and grow our brands ahead of the categories we compete in.
In this role you will… Lead a team of Pharmacy Executives and sales representatives maintaining high standards of salesforce effectiveness and trade execution while supporting everyone's personal development and career growth. Provide monthly input into commercial forecasting process, driving forecast accuracy and excellent customer service levels. Initiate ideas, concepts and new business opportunities that will drive consumption growth. Develop, negotiate and implement effective promotions across key customers. Monitor and analyse sales performance through market share, category and other data. Track operational spend to ensure we are in line with our plan and unlock efficient use of Gross-To-Net. Develop strong customer relations within the pharmacy channel to maximise business opportunities and grow the business. Ensure effective regional distribution and supply by maintaining adequate stock cover across all customers. Create and encourage an innovative and open team climate which results in superior performance. Drive commercial understanding across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Global Support Functions and Value Chain Demonstrate Haleon Values and Leadership Standards to drive actions and decisions, role model values and expectations. Qualifications/Experiences: A bachelor's degree 10 - 15 years Customer management/ Sales management/ Customer marketing experience. Strong commercial understanding / experience Proven record of delivering results and meeting customer expectations Proven ability to collect and analyse various data sources to make sound recommendations. Innovative and motivated work ethic with a passion to succeed. Ability to influence KOLs and Customers Leadership experience Skills/Competencies: Territory & Customer management skills & People management skills Negotiation skills Presentation/communication skills Analytical skills - an ability to analyse industry competitors through use of available data. Net Revenue Management skills – Trade Spend and Promotional Management Development of all staff ensuring continuous learning and implementation of best practice. Coach and develop direct reports. Generate action plans to correct areas of weakness and capitalize on areas of opportunity. Invest time and effort to develop our top talent.
