Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.JR56320 Senior/Tax AnalystJob Description Regional Tax Responsibilities:Preparation of regional corporate taxes and Indirect taxes Preparation of quarterly tax provision, tax estimates, deferred taxation and tax packages as needed.Support Transfer Pricing requirements as needed.Coordinate with local finance team and external advisors to work on significant tax mattersSupports Fixed assets tax depreciation.Advise and review WHT and SST filing and process.Support Pillar 2 modelling.Support regional tax audit defense.Support tax planning initiatives such as tax incentives and credits.Support various regional tax projects as needed.Maintain professional relationships with external advisors, auditors and local tax authorities.Liaison for internal and external parties (external Tax agents and auditors) on the preparation tax computation and tax estimatesSupport regional based tax accounting group and country leads with APAC tax accounting and reporting.Work closely with business units to understand business and function as a trusted business advisor regarding tax matters.Global responsibilities:Management of outsourced compliance function for designated entities in APAC, EMEA and USCollaborate with US based tax team to assist with the preparation US federal returns, US international tax forms and state tax returns (, 5471, 8858, 8975, etc)Collaborate with the US tax team to help with Fixed assets depreciation and reporting.Manage Global tax team's billing.Supports US R&D tax credit claims.Collaborate with Global tax team to improve processes by developing or implementing best practices from a tax perspective (standardization and automation of processes)Collaborate with Accounting on various tax needs and projects.Supports tax related audits.Supports various global tax projects as needed.Requirements Accounting with professional qualification is added advantage (MIA/ACCA/CPA etc)5 to 7 years of tax experience in Public Accounting firm and in Commercial covering both direct and indirect taxes for US/APAC/EMEA regionsFamiliar with USGAAP accounting and SAP knowledge is an added advantage.Experience with a variety of taxing jurisdictions and affiliated income tax filing requirements.Meticulous and detail-oriented personnel.Well versed in accounting standards (MFRS, IFRS) and policies.Keep abreast with the latest development in tax laws in various jurisdictions.Good knowledge of Indirect taxes and withholding tax laws to provide tax advice.Strong in Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is an added advantage.Experience in working with global tax team with US headquarters.Strong communication skills, proficient in English speaking and writing.Knowledge of Mandarin or Japanese language is an added advantage.
