About the role
Seacera Group Berhad is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join the team on a contract basis in Sungai Petani, Kedah. As a Site Agent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities: Overall site planning, coordination, and management to ensure completion of works within required standards, quality, and targeted schedules.Work closely with the management team to establish and control project budget, claims, and manpower planning.Follow quality control policies to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with specifications, standards, and quality guidelines.To monitor the progress of construction site and responsible for timely completion for every stage of construction works as per work schedule.Identifying and solving potential risks and issues when arise.Responsible for integrating the efforts of all contributors on the projects.Follow up on contract administration, construction claims, and contractual issues.Preparation and execution of Project Implementation Plan and Project Quality Plan.To organize and coordinate all site matters with various contractors, consultants and relevant authorities. (technical and non-technical) to ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction and meet the quality standards.To carry out joint inspection, monitor processes, modification, and variation and conduct final inspection with consultants' representative in accordance to contract specifications / drawings / inspection and test plan.Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risksStructure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projectsDevelop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchersAssign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverablesReport project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work planRequirements: Possess a Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualificationExperience in site coordination and site managementExperience in managing sub-contractors and workersSelf-motivated and result orientedMinimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Agent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industryAbility to work independently and with minimum supervisionAble to base at Sungai Petani, Kedah1 contract position available What we offer Competitive compensation packageOpportunities for professional development and career advancementAbout us
