About the role As a Site Safety Supervisor at Seacera Group Berhad, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction projects in Sungai Petani, Kedah. This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety procedures to protect our workers, visitors and the surrounding community.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure all safety and health practices adhere to company policies and local government regulationsLiaison with the local statutory bodies (DOSH, CIDB, etc.) to ensure ongoing compliance and address relevant issuesPrepare detailed reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management as necessaryCreate and manage reports and checklists required by clients and local authoritiesInvestigating accidents, perilous incidents, and workplace-related diseasesConduct safety training sessions and workshops for employees and subcontractorsDevelop and update training materials and resources to enhance safety awareness and complianceConduct regular site inspections to monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocolsWork closely with the project team to address site security, health, safety, and cleanliness issuesRequirements: Possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or relevant fieldWith Yellow Book certification and registered with DOSH or equivalent safety qualification Minimum 2 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in the construction industryFamiliar with OSHA regulations & requirements.
