Site Safety Supervisor

Job Requirements: - Must have Diploma/ Bachelor in safety and health or relevant field of study - Possess own transport - 1-2-year experience as safety supervisor for projects - Able to work independently with minimum supervision - Able to work under pressure and willing to learn new things - Possess excellent problem-solving skills along with fine attention to details and quality - Must have yellow book, CIDB, Niosh - Able to work under pressure, self-reliance. - willling to relocate to chuping, perlis for 5 months Job Description: - Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards/ safety regarding electrical and instruments - Supervising and instructing the construction team & electrical and instruments team as well as subcontractors - Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol. - Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries. - Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol. - Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance. - Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed. - Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications. - Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency. - Checking of sub-contractors' work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder are complied with - Liaise with contractor's safety supervisors appointed under Regulation 26 with respect to safety of work undertaken by sub-contractors- create safety plan or programme at eastern sdn bhd Job Details: - Job Type: permanent - Based at Terengganu - Willing to relocate to project site if required.Our vision is to be a leading service provider of choice in oil and gas petrochemical,hyrocarbon and power plant industries based on professionalism integrity supreme craftsmanship aquality service with strict adherence to safety and awareness orientation philosophy.Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5
