We are seeking a talented and driven Social Media Executive to manage our social media presence for our premium aesthetic clinic and medical spa based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our target audience is discerning clients seeking premium beauty services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for filming and creating engaging video content daily, particularly featuring our aesthetic doctors and spa therapists, and showcasing our aesthetic treatment, including lasers, injections, and medical-grade facials. Content will be managed across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, My Little Red Book (???), YouTube and Facebook. Responsibilities: Content Creation & Management: Develop, curate, and schedule high-quality, engaging content tailored for our social media platforms, with a strong focus on daily video content highlighting our premium beauty services and aesthetic treatments.Film informative and visually appealing videos that showcase our expertise and services, using either a smartphone (with high-resolution output) or professional camera equipment (note: professional equipment is not a must). The company will support with additional equipment, such as portable ring lights and ad hoc props, to enhance content quality.Create and manage a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and company events.Re-purpose existing content from other platforms to cater specifically to the prestige beauty market.Strategy Development: Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic.Monitor and analyze social media trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for growth.Create and execute social media advertising campaigns to reach our target audiences.Community Management: Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and manage online discussions in a timely and professional manner.Work closely with other marketing team members to develop and coordinate influencer content, building and maintaining relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors on social media platforms to enhance brand loyalty and reach.Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics using various tools.Prepare and present regular reports on social media activities, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.Use insights from data to adjust strategies and improve overall performance.Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and commercial operations teams to ensure social media activities are integrated with broader marketing initiatives.Collaborate with aesthetic doctors and spa therapists to gather content ideas and ensure consistent brand messaging.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms specific to the medical aesthetics audience.Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content, particularly in video format.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills: Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.Experience with social media advertising and campaign management.
