Sourcing Executive

Job Responsibilities :  To identify and evaluate suppliers for raw materials and standard parts based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.To negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements for the company.To develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new sourcing opportunities.To analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform sourcing strategies.To ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production schedules and minimize delays.To collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand material requirements and specifications.To monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.To conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.To monitor accurate records of supplier contracts, pricing, and materials received.To prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to management.To assist in resolving any sourcing- related issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly.To participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving sourcing efficiency and reducing costs.To stay updated on industry developments and emerging technologies in raw materials and fabrication processes.To perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager as required. Requirements :  Candidates must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Operations Management/ Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification.Preferably 2-3 years sourcing related working experience.Preferably within the metal fabrication manufacturing industry.Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Resourceful with positive attitude and able to work independently.Good in written and oral communication skills.
