BE GREAT TOGETHER WITH US.Innovation, Efficiency and Ambition: this is what VAT has stood for over 50 years.With this passion, VAT has grown to become the leading international developer, manufacturer and supplier of high-performance high-end vacuum valves and vacuum sealing technology, employing over 2000 people worldwide.The headquarters are located in Haag (Switzerland), the production centers in Switzerland, Malaysia, Romania and Taiwan.Roles, Responsibilities and Job Expectations • Operates Milling machines, flexible manufacturing system (Fastems), Deburring station, withtimely delivery of machined products in required quality and at reasonable cost level.• Actively participate in continuous improvement process and maintain 6S at work environment toincrease the productivity and maintain safety.• Setting up and run first part for new products in close cooperation with the CadCam team.• Monitoring ongoing production and ensuring quality control and tool offset adjustments.• Timely perform maintenance and calibration on machines, equipment, gauges, cutting tools, jigsand fixtures according to schedule.• Properly setup and handle Milling machines, cutting tools, jigs/fixture and parts with correctprogram and parameters for Milling machining, deburring and gauging processes.• Perform task according to procedure and work instruction including loading/unloading.• Perform visual inspection and in-process buyoff during load and unload as per WorkInstructions.• Able to access and understand parts drawing and CMM report.• Reports to and supports supervisor in term of coordinating and communicating in case of qualityissues, availability of parts and components, critical delivery deadlines.• Support daily task that given by superior from time to time.• Perform equipment buyoff and maintenance according to checklist and schedule.• Buyoff and maintain jigs and fixtures and submit report if wear and tear or broken.• Perform Machine Autonomous Maintenance.Measure and refill coolant pH & concentration.Hydraulic and spindle oil Buyoff and clear chip tank .Key Competencies and Skills • Preferably 2 years & above of machining experience in CNC Milling.• Diploma in Sciences / Engineering (Preferably Mechanical) or SPM / SKM/ Certificate inSciences / Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining.• Experienced with tool management such as tool life monitoring, tool presetting.• Experienced in using measuring equipment, e.g.gauges, caliper or micrometer• Possess advance level GD & T knowledge & able to interpret part drawing requirements.• Quality awareness.• Good characters for teamwork and reliability.Special Skills (such as special certifications) • Prefer with PSDC or JMTI Level 2~3VAT is an equal opportunity employer.We see ourselves as a responsible and far-sighted employer that offers not only jobs, but also career and personal development opportunities through various training programs.We recognize the value of employee diversity and provide equal employment opportunity for all qualified application that contributes to innovation, improves customer orientation and employee satisfaction.One-step in this direction is to ensure that people are recognized and fairly compensated for their contributions to the company.In 2021, VAT received the Fair-ON-Pay+ certificate as an acknowledgement for our commitment in ensuring equal pay for equal work between men and women.
