About the roleAs a Supply Chain Executive at Lai Ngit Sen Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in optimising the company's supply chain operations.
This full-time position is based in Kuching, Sarawak, and involves managing the procurement, logistics and inventory processes that support the company's manufacturing and distribution activities.
What you'll be doing
Forecasting and planning materials and inventory requirements to meet production and sales demands
Sourcing, negotiating and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
Coordinating logistics and transportation to efficiently move products
Monitoring and analysing supply chain performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with broader business objectives
Implementing and maintaining inventory management systems to optimise stock levels
Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and regulations
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years' experience in a supply chain, procurement or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address supply chain issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders
Proficient in using relevant supply chain management software and data analysis tools
Ability to multitask, prioritise and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field
