As the Supply Chain and Production Manager, you will oversee and manage variousaspects of the supply chain function, including sourcing, vendor management, materialplanning, purchasing, import and delivery arrangements, inventory, and warehousemanagement. Key Responsibilities:
-Supply Chain Management: Oversee material planning, sourcing, and purchasingactivities for both local and international suppliers. This includes raising purchaseorders within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and verifying invoices.
-Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors andsuppliers, negotiate costs, minimize vendor-related risks, and ensure timely servicedelivery.
-Logistics Coordination: Manage import shipping arrangements, customs declarations,forwarder selection, and all related documentation.
-Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with LMW licenses, stay updated withthe latest rules and regulations, and prepare necessary reports and applications forduty-exempt goods.
-Inventory and Warehouse Management: Oversee staff resources, goods receiving,goods receipt notes (GRN), storage, handling of rejected items, and control inventorylevels.
-Stock Management: Lead the company's annual, semi-annual, and yearly stockcounting activities, including reconciliations, procedures, and process improvements.
-Production Operations: Plan and organize the HLS tools assembly, focusing onmanpower optimization, overtime allocation, cost control, monitoring staff attendanceand performance, and ensuring timely order fulfi llment.
-Technical Management: Address technical issues, provide supervision, developtraining processes, and prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs).
-Continuous Improvement: Make proactive decisions and recommendations toenhance quality and drive continuous improvement programs.
-Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and health regulations forproduction and warehouse staff.
-Occasional Travel: Be prepared to travel outside Malaysia occasionally for sourcing-related activities.

-A minimum of 5 years of experience managing various aspects of the supply chain,including sourcing, vendor management, material planning, purchasing, deliveryarrangements, inventory, and warehouse management, as well as productionplanning, order fulfi llment, process improvements, and performance reporting.
-Knowledge of LMW license applications, requirements, and reporting.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to make strategic decisions and manage dailyoperations eff ectively.
-Excellent communication skills in English, Malay, and Chinese (Mandarin).
-Willingness to delegate responsibilities and tasks eff ectively.
-A good understanding of products, quality control, fi nance, and project management.
-Availability for occasional travel outside Malaysia for sourcing-related activities.
