About the roleWe are seeking a skilled Automotive Air Conditioning Technician to join our dynamic team at Universal Motor Sdn. Bhd. in Tawau, Sabah. This full-time role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of air conditioning systems in a variety of automotive vehicles. As a key member of our Trades & Services team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the comfort and safety of our customers' vehicles.
What you'll be doing
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues with automotive air conditioning systems
Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of air conditioning components
Recharge and refill air conditioning systems as required
Maintain detailed records of all work carried out
Provide excellent customer service and technical advice
Work closely with the wider Trades & Services team to ensure efficient operations
What we're looking for
Relevant qualification or certification in automotive air conditioning or HVAC
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automotive Air Conditioning Technician
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of air conditioning systems, refrigerants, and related components
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
