Responsibilities:Vehicle Operation:Safely operate heavy-duty trailers to transport goods to designated destinations.
Load and Unload:Efficiently load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and balancing of the load.
Compliance with Regulations:Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding commercial driving, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety standards.
Vehicle Maintenance:Perform daily pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance department.
Logbook Maintenance:Accurately maintain driver logs to comply with regulatory requirements.
Safety:Prioritize safety by following safe driving practices and adhering to traffic laws.
Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods on time and in good condition.
Emergency Procedures:Respond to emergency situations, such as accidents or breakdowns, in a calm and professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
