Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Officer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, managing the storage space effectively, and ensuring that the warehouse operates in compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is kept at optimal levels.Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, storage, and dispatches.Warehouse Operations: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that they are handled efficiently and safely.Implement and maintain warehouse organization and layout, ensuring that goods are stored in a manner that maximizes space and accessibility.Coordinate with the procurement and sales departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.Team Supervision: Supervise and provide guidance to warehouse staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and adhering to company policies.Conduct training sessions for warehouse staff on safety procedures, equipment usage, and inventory management.Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with health and safety regulations.Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all equipment is maintained and used safely.Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, stock movements, and any issues encountered.Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including deliveries, storage, and dispatches.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving warehouse operations and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in warehouse management.Qualifications and Skills: Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related role.Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment.New graduates are invited to apply for this opportunity.YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONE, CLICK ON US !
