SummaryThe Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Process is responsible for designing, developing, deploying and optimizing processes for manufacturing to achieve quality cost and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers products.
ResponsibilitiesAssist Manager in coordinating the daily tasks of EC Management via internal systems such as Citrix, Matrix, SAP, ODC, and Customer system requirements such as MY LAM and Gmox.
Maintain Monthly ECO Key Performance Indicators and Weekly EC release data.
Present in the Weekly ECN Con-Call for Johor Site to Customer/Site Coordinate and guarantee proper implementation of internal or external ECN.
Monitor all phases of an ECN implementation, from receiving the request from the customer, to validate change impacts, confirm requirements with all functions and gather approvals before implementation.
Manage and be responsible for customer AML and its accuracy in SAP.
Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Analyze the Customer Changes for site impact for every Matrix ECs release.
Decide the disposition tools for ECs released based on Customer Disposition change.
Monitor the MM submission for Halb and Fert items successfully updated in the system.
Maintain the Input Placement for all Planning Assembly release based on-site Manufacturing Engineer decision.
Chair weekly ECO Meeting by Customers.
Bridge the matrix EC's based on the depletion date as per EC meeting decision.
Verify the completeness and accuracy of the EC's bridging to SAP.
Check I-Doc error after EC's bridging if any.
Maintain BOM routing and Component Allocation in SAP.
Re-refresh the routing for every MIP going to release.
Troubleshoot and solve any system issue and liaise with IT Support on any problem regarding BOM issues.
Study new project enhancement such as EC EtQ, Auto Sort string, and Auto.
Comply with any additional assignments when assigned by superior.
Process all internal and external ECN requests. Coordinate activities with Work cell staff. Receive and interpret changes requested.
Update SAP for BOM, AVL, new part numbers, and drawings.
Maintain 100% BOM accuracy.
Manage effective dates for BOM in SAP in conjunction with planning.
Coordinate weekly CCB meetings with the PDX site and daily CCB meetings with the internal team.
