09 - Manager, Supply Chain 1Manage to purchase of all direct and indirect materials for manufacturing operations.
Manage inventory level and control systems up to date & ensure inventories accuracy.
Manage overall warehouse & receiving to ensure smooth operations.
Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
To ensure purchases are in compliance with Company standard policy and procedures.
Be responsible for the procurement of commodities following the commodity strategies plans and the management of supplier relationship.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure prompt deliveries.
Negotiate pricing and delivery terms, develop competitive but collaborative vendor partnerships.
Ensure all import and export documentation is in compliance with Local Authority and Company procedures.
Identify and develop training opportunities.
Communicate well with all levels of staffs with internal & external.
Degree in Business Studies / Purchasing / Materials Management or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years working experience in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
Good understanding of materials management and inventory system.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Proficient in SAP and S4 system is an added advantage.
Good negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of Customs and GST/SST is required.
Manage and liaise with local Authority (Customs, SST, DOE and etc).
