Job Position: Senior Quality Assurance (Software) Job ID: 2023013 C(A40)AH Company Background: IT Solution Service Provider Salary Range: Basic MYR6,000 MYR8,000 Working Days: Mon - Fri Working Hours: 9am 6pm (Lunch break: 12pm 1:30pm) Location: Physical office at Bangkok Bank Tower, KL. Staff that prefer to work at office is welcomed to work at physical office Public Holiday entitlement: 5 days Federal holiday, Labour day, National day, Malaysia day, Agong birthday. Take the lead in mentoring and guiding junior QA team members, leveraging your expertise and providing valuable direction. 2. Formulate and maintain intricate test strategies and plans for intricate projects, ensuring comprehensive coverage. 3. Develop, manage, and regularly update detailed, well-organized test documentation and test cases. 4. Spearhead the creation and implementation of automated test scripts to improve efficiency in the testing process. 5. Perform thorough root cause analysis for complex defects, working in close collaboration with developers to facilitate prompt resolution. 6. Collaborate with product managers and development teams to establish and refine acceptance criteria for user stories and feature sets. 7. Evaluate and propose enhancements to QA processes, testing tools, and methodologies, ensuring they align with industry best practices. 8. Coordinate and execute performance and scalability testing to ensure optimal system performance. 9. Identify and prioritize high-impact test scenarios, optimizing testing efforts for maximum efficiency. Requirements: 1. Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2. Bring to the table 3+ years of practical experience in quality assurance and software testing. 3. Demonstrate proficiency in test automation through tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks(Optional). 4. Possess an in-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, encompassing test planning and test case design. 5. Showcase strong leadership and mentoring abilities. 6. Previous experience with performance and load testing tools. 7. Exhibit exceptional problem-solving and analytical prowess. 8. Display a sound knowledge of software development and the software development lifecycle. 9. Required language(s): English, Mandarin will be added advantage.
